Down in the OC, Taco Mesa makes some great food. Love this place..they have badass salsas.

This lobster burrito, was kind of meh, I like the version at Sharkeez much better. Killer sauce though.

This is the greasy spoon next to the Mazda Dealership I visit, Long Beach Mazda. Its very inexpensive and a decent, mexican run greasy spoon. there are several of these STYLE of diners…Mexican-run (I think…they seem like they are) “burger and breakfast”‘ joints that makes some decent food for a few bucks.

It being Fish Friday I decided to get some pancakes and eggs today….probably a dumb idea to get the eggs over medium with pancakes.

The best thing is the chili omelette.

I think this is my 3rd or 4th visit to CAfe Rio in like a week. What can I say, its across the street from my gym and they serve great salads for 8 bucks or so…quite a good deal.

I love “the crazy chicken”. The mac and cheese is quite good with some salsa on top. The beans here are actually chili…its not so good.

The main problem is the quality of the food varies based on how fast their turnover is.

Blue argyles. These socks were only $2.50. They are quite comfortable, I think this will be my “go-to” sock…I’m getting kind of sick/bored of boring black gold toes from costco.

Price is right too.

Its a very good, but messy-ish burger. The bun is nice and spongy and the green tobasco was quite good on the burger itself. Overall though, it was a tad overcooked as I wanted medium rare but wanted medium and they didn’t let the burger rest enough before serving, as I sliced it in half (yeah, I do that, so what), you can see the juices runneth.

Overall a 6.8 / 10.

I am thinking of getting this book. Problem is I buy these books and never really read them for some odd reason.

oh well.

This is what I do, I go to Barnes and Noble, take pics of books I want then buy them at amazon for 1/3 off AND no sales tax. Having Amazon Prime, I have free 2-day shipping. holla.
